How do I become a member? ( 7 EASY STEPS)
- Begin your application for a membership today by submitting the form below and you will be contacted by a representative of the Idaho Association of Home Inspectors.
- You will be asked to provide 2 home inspection references from a licensed realtor or broker and a copy of your home inspection report.
- Certify in writing how many independent home inspections you have completed.
- Charter Members (1,000 or more inspections) – This level provides you with all of the benefits of a membership as well as a prominent photo, bio, and link to your website on the IAHI website, the use of the IAHI logo on your website and the Idaho Certified Expert Inspector Badge/Patch.
- Members (200 or more inspections)- This level provides you with all of the benefits of a membership as well as a standard photo, bio, and link to your website on the IAHI website, the use of the IAHI logo on your website and the Idaho Certified Expert Inspector Badge/Patch.
- Junior Members (100 or more inspections)- This level provides you with all of the benefits of a membership as well as the use of the IAHI logo on your website.
- Arrange to take the IAHI proctored test.
- Once accepted you will be required to pass a criminal background test and provide results to the Idaho Association of Home Inspectors.
- Obtain eKey access with BRR and provide a copy of E&O insurance (we will direct you).
- You will then be able to attend 4 meetings per year where we share camaraderie, host expert speakers and classes, dine, share questions and answers and keep each other updated on industry-related regulations and updates.
Annual membership costs $499 per year plus a one-time fee of $150 to sit for the proctored IAHI test.
